I did not expect to become disabled, but I could have been more prepared, considering I was in therapy and knew others with my illness who were disabled. I had a disablity policy through my employer. But it only covered 18 months because it was a mental illness, not a physical one. I could have afforded to buy a longer policy from an outside company, and wish I had. Now I struggle to live on Social Security. Please learn from my mistake.

Comment on How do I know if I should send my children to a private, Christian school? Essentially we are asking the same questions during this challenging tie tat we should be asking throughout the year. But, it takes on special meaning right now. Look for ways to support our brothers and sisters in Christ is an excellent response to the economic challenge!

Comment on Economic Uncertainty: A Window of Opportunity

I really appreciate the links on the original email message. I liked the question Ron said to ask ourselves, "God what would you have me to do?" It's a timeless quesion, but an extra good one for me to ask myself during the Christmas shopping season.

Comment on Paying off credit cards vs. establishing emergency savings

Been a reader for some time now, just wanted to say thanks for the great blog and hope you have a wonderful new year to come.

Comment on Economic Uncertainty: How did we get to this point?

Ron,<br />This is incredible truth!
